Lil Boosie isn't waiting to give fans some new music. The rapper was released from the Louisiana State Penitentiary on Wednesday after serving time for felony drug charges. On Thursday, the rapper unveiled two video clips of a freestyle rap he apparently made while riding home from prison.
In the second part of the "Ride Home Freestyle," Boosie continues rapping, but includes a more musical tone. He also describes himself as a "John Dillinger-type," referring to Depression-era bank robber.
Boosie is expected to appear at a press conference with Atlantic Records on Monday. A rep for Atlantic tells the "Times-Picayune" of New Orleans that the rapper will clear up whether he's signed a new record deal.
Lil Boosie was sentenced to eight years in prison after pleading guilty to felony drug charges in 2011.
