Benzino is blasting his nephew's claim that he shot the Love and Hip-Hop star in self defense.

Gai Scott, who is being held without bail, made the claim during his arraignment on attempted murder charges. Scott said that Benzino drove up to him the day of the rapper's mother's funeral, said, "You got a problem with me?" and then flashed a gun.

But Benzino writes on Instagram, “Smdh, ain’t that something? Make sure you read this carefully to understand what I’m saying, he said he shot me in self defense, but I was unarmed and I got shot in the back. Now you tell me... This whole situation is unbelievable and it’s a shame.”

Trick Daddy was arrested near Miami yesterday for being in possession of a loaded gun and cocaine.

According to a police report obtained by the Miami Herald, Trick was busted by cops who'd been staking out his home on the suspicion that he was running a "grow house." When questioned by police in his driveway, he denied growing weed in the home but allowed that cops might find some cocaine and marijuana roaches in his home.

A subsequent search turned up one gram of coke in the nightstand of the rapper's bedroom and a nine-millimeter Sig Sauer under his pillow.

As a convicted felon, Trick isn't supposed to own any firearms. He's out on $6100 bond.

Justin Timberlake will kick off the new season of Oprah's Master Class on May 11th.

J.T. sat down with Oprah for an hour-long interview chronicling his career and personal life for the show, which will also feature a chat with the singer's mom -- a nice touch, since it's airing on Mother's Day. Other episodes on the new season will focus on Lionel Richie, Vanessa Williams and Whoopi Goldberg.
