LIL BOOSIE: Show Cancelled
A Lil Boosie concert scheduled for April 18th in Mississippi has been cancelled due to parole travel restrictions.
Boosie's team set up the April 18th show at the Jackson County Fairgrounds during Mississippi Gulf Coast Spring Break. However, he hasn't yet gotten clearance from Louisiana's parole board to travel out of state, so his management couldn't guarantee that he'd be able to make it. As a result, county officials pulled the plug.
Boosie is on parole following his release from a Louisiana prison on March 4th. He served four and a half years on a drug conviction.
A$AP ROCKY: Puts a Ring on It
Congrats to A$AP Rocky and supermodel Chanel Iman. According to theNew York Post, the couple is, or perhaps was, "secretly engaged."
Sources tell the Post that Iman "happily" accepted the rapper's proposal a while back, but the two are keeping things on the hush-hush for now. No word obviously on when the two might actually tie the knot.
KEVIN DURANT: Passes Jordan's Mark
Not many basketball players can say they've done something that Michael Jordan hasn't, but Kevin Durant can.
The Oklahoma City Thunder star scored 38 points in a loss to Phoenix last night (Sunday), thus making it the 41st consecutive game in which he scored at least 25 points. Jordan's best was 40 straight games. The only ones to have done it longer are Oscar Robertson, who did it for 46 games in 1963-1964 and Wilt Chamberlain who scored at least 25 in all 80 games of the 1961-1962 season.
