Mobb Deep Traffic Report

This week we’ve seen rappers, athletes and now news anchors pay tribute to Mobb Deep’s Prodigy in their own unique ways.

Anchors on Atlanta’s WSB-TV used routine traffic reports as a vehicle to pay tribute to the Queensbridge rapper, who died on Tuesday. Hosts Fred Blankenship and Mark Arum snuck references to Prodigy and Mobb Deep lyrics into their on-air banter. Check out a clip below to see a supercut with lines like, “It’s mob deep out there on I-20 with delays” and “Counting my stacks -- those trip times counting up to 27 minutes now.”
