For a teen to have disagreements with their parents is understandable... But to put a hit out on them, that might be taken it to the extreme... Especially if you're using their money to do it... And that's exactly what 17 year old Alyssa Hatcher from Florida did.
According to the Tampa Bay Times, Hatcher stole her parents’ debit card and took out $500 and used $100 to buy cocaine. Then gave a friend the other $400 to hire someone to kill her parents. When that failed, she took out another $900 and tried to get someone else to murder her parents. Thank God it was never carried out.
Hatcher was arrested and charged with criminal solicitation for murder. A motive is still being investigated.
