DR. DRE: Speaks Out, Thanks Fans for Well Wishes
Dr. Dre is thanking friends and fans for their well wishes as he remains hospitalized in Los Angeles following a brain aneurysm.
He wrote on Instagram, "Thanks to my family, friends and fans for their interest and well wishes. I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team." He went on to thanks his doctors and said he will be "out of the hospital and back home soon."
Dre is in stable condition and undergoing tests to determine the cause of the bleeding in his brain.
DR. DRE: Attempted Break-In at House
Some creeps saw the news of Dr. Dre in the hospital as an opportunity to break into his home, but their plan was quickly thwarted by security.
Security guards at Dre's L.A. home spotted four men on the property around 2 a.m. looking for a way to get into the house and confronted them... Police quickly arrived at the scene and all four men were captured and placed under arrest. Cops say the men targeted the house because Dre was away in the hospital.
JAY-Z, MEEK MILL: Reform Alliance Wins in Michigan
Score one for Jay-Z, Michael Rubin and Meek Mill’s non-profit!
Their criminal justice reform org, REFORM Alliance, managed to convince Michigan State Legislature to pass a set of new laws to retool the state’s probation and parole system. The new laws will bring progressive reform to the state’s probation and parole system and will reduce adult felony probation sentences from five to three years. They also want parole supervision terms to be tailored to a person’s individualized risks and needs.
