Disney+ Reaches 138 Million Subscribers

Looks like Disney+ is set to take the lead in the streaming wars. The service added 7.9 million subscribers last quarter and now have over 138 million accounts worldwide. The news comes as Netflix appears to be declining - the OG streaming platform lost 200,000 subscribers last quarter and expects to lose two million more by the end of the summer.

Young Thug Charged With 7 More Felonies

Young Thug is still in jail after being arrested Monday on state charges of participation in street gang activity and conspiring to violate the RICO Act. He’s now been charged with seven more felonies; these charges came after police raided his home. The new charges against Thug are: possession of marijuana with intent to distribute; possession of a Schedule III, IV, or V controlled substance with intent to distribute; possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony; possession of a sawed-off shotgun, sawed-off rifle, machine gun, dangerous weapon, or silencer; and three counts of being a person employed or associated with a criminal street gang to conduct or participate in criminal gang activity through the commission of a crime.

Dave Chappelle wants his attacker to face felony charges, LA County D.A. responds

Dave Chappelle and his lawyer want the LA County DA to rethink his decision. The attacker, Isaiah Lee, pled not guilty to “misdemeanor battery, misdemeanor possession of a deadly weapon with intent to assault and two violations related to storming the stage and interfering with a performance.” Chappelle and his lawyer, wants the city of Los Angeles to come down harder to ensure the safety of entertainers while performing. Chappelle’s lawyer, said. “Entertainers in Los Angeles need to know that the justice system will protect them on stage.”
