RAP MUSIC ON TRIAL: Bill Passes New York Senate

There may soon be a limit to how lyrics can be used in court — at least in New York state.

Pitchfork reports that a Senate Bill called “Rap Music on Trial” has passed in the New York Senate. The legislation still allows lyrics to be used as evidence, but only if they can be proven to be “literal, rather than figurative or fictional.” There’s still an additional hurdle before the bill can become a law — it will need to pass a vote by the state assembly.

The bill was supported by Jay-Z, Meek Mill, Killer Mike and Fat Joe to name a few

Now, child support and custody are being worked out, while Flav spends more time with his youngest of eight children. Flav might want to take the Nick Cannon route and considers a vasectomy

The problem is, he never got around to paying the remaining $200,000 on the tab. According to records, he bonded out just hours after being taken into custody.

Law enforcement claims he also tried to get over by trading the watch for a different Richard Mille at another store.
