Lauren London Debuts New 'Forever Stronger' Collab With Puma

The marathon continues.

Lauren London is carrying the torch left by her life partner Nipsey Hussle. Picking up where the late rapper and activist left off, the 35-year-old actress unveiled her new collab with Puma — the brand Nipsey was preparing to launch a collab with at the time of his death — sharing an emotional announcement video and multiple shots of her upcoming collection to Instagram on Tuesday (December 10).

The collaboration, which is appropriately titled "Forever Stronger," is one Puma described as "a creative vision Lauren wanted to bring to life to signify the continuation of her marathon alongside Puma," which is perfectly captured in the "Forever Stronger" campaign video.

As Lauren recites a poem written by Nipsey's younger sister, Samantha Smith, she is shown in various locations throughout her and Nipsey's beloved hometown of Los Angeles. "There is nothing to hide here. No way to pretend. We relate, we disagree, we disengage. We are running into each other. We are the song that writes itself," Lauren narrates as paintings and tributes to Nipsey are shown on almost every street corner. "The melody replays in the key of elevated living. We forget the words, we never forget the feeling."

"Glory and divinity conduct our symphony. We are infinite affinity, wrapped in sacred epiphany," she continues. "We are meant for we. We are flowing. We are growing. We are open like the red sea. We walk through with confident uncertainty. We kneel here. We heal here. We open our hearts to the heavens. We use our tears to cleanse our canvas. The fear floods us. The love is electric. Self-inflicted pain. We dance in the rain, 'til the fear is drained, 'cause pain is the light. Pain is insight. The body hurts, but the spirit grows. The flesh is starving while wisdom overflows. I got a question, only Lord knows: Does life birth us twice? "

The three-and-a-half-minute video concludes with a shot of Lauren standing alone on the same street she famously stood with Nipsey for their celebrated "California Love" GQ photoshoot.

As fans know, Nipsey was preparing to launch his Puma x TMC collection at the time of his death. As a tribute to the late entertainer, Puma, with the blessing of Nipsey's family, dropped the collection in September, six months after Nip was murdered outside his Los Angeles clothing store.
