LIL BABY: Gunna Used to Ghostwrite

Speaking openly about ghostwriters has always been a no no in hip-hop, but Lil Baby has no problem giving credit to the rappers who helped him pen his hits.

Baby says his collaborations with Gunna extend far beyond the joint project Drip Harder. Baby says back in the day Gunna, who was more experienced, would help him write songs for $100 a pop.

Meek Mill sat down with Gayle King on CBS This Morning today for a heart-to-heart.

Meek talked about the struggles of a probationary period that has extended for nearly a decade. One of the hardest parts was having to get permission to go anywhere outside of the local area, which made it near impossible to visit his son. That’s because even though they only lived about 15 minutes away, Meek was in Philly and his kid was living in Jersey.

He also addressed his efforts around criminal justice reform. Meek is in court today to try to have his 2008 conviction overturned.
