A$AP ROCKY: Found Guilty in Sweden
The verdict on A$AP Rocky’s Swedish assault trial was handed down today.
The bad news for Rocky is the four-judge panel deemed him guilty, ruling that he and his two friends “were not in a situation where they were entitled to self-defense.” The good news is, he won’t face jail time. Prosecutors were unable to prove that Rocky tried to inflict harm on the victim with a bottle, which meant the sentence wasn’t as serious as what it could have been.
Now eventhough Rocky wont' do time, he will have to pay restitution to the victim and cover the country’s court costs. While the grand total wasn’t publicly announced, you’ve gotta figure whatever the number is, it’s a lot cheaper than the money Rocky would lose (and has lost) stuck in a Swedish prison cell.
TRINA: Only One Who Speaks for Me Is Me
Trina is preparing to set the world straight about her supposed beef with Nicki Minaj.
It all started when an A&R for Nicki’s Rockstarr Music Group, Reginald Saunders, put Nicki on blast for “deception and manipulation.” The executive took issue with Nicki for not doing enough to promote the collab “BAPS” off Trina’s The One album. Then, Trina’s cousin, Bobby Lytes piled on and said Trina is such a nice person that she’d likely still be friends with Barbie despite the disappointment.
But now the Baddest One herself, Trina, has popped to say she can speak for herself. She posted on Instagram around midnight. “Everybody that knows me knows anything that I gotta say, I will say it and address it…. I don’t need nobody. To speak for me. Second of all, everything that I have to say, I will address it tomorrow.” She promised to set the record straight once and for all via Instagram Live.
