Tekashi 6ix9ine’s family is too scared to show their support during the kidnapping and robbery trial he’s due to testify in next week. TMZ reports that the rapper’s family members fear retaliation from the Nine Trey Bloods and think going anywhere near the courtroom when Tekashi is testifying would be putting them at risk. They’re worried that gang members will harass them, or even worse — stalk and attack them.

Attorney Isaac Wright Jr says 50 Cent tried to hire him to help 6ix9ine. When Wright tried to connect with him, Tekashi turned down the requests and it was “clear he was cooperating.” Wright says the “sad part is, he didn’t have to do that. I would have gotten him off without having to sell his soul.”
