Ok, so songwriter Justin Raisen is accusing Lizzo of stealing his lyrics for her hit “Truth Hurts.”
Justin is claiming credit for writing the opening line: “I just took a DNA test, turns out I’m 100 percent that bitch.” He wants five percent of the money that “Truth Hurt” is generating for Lizzo.
Lizzo has said she wrote “Truth Hurts” by herself following a difficult breakup. Raisen called B.S. He posted to Instagram a recording of a 2017 demo called “Healthy” that Lizzo and Raisen co-wrote with others. In that two-year-old song, she raps the same line... Hmmmm
Raisen tried to ask nicely for his percentage of Lizzo's profits. He said, (quote) “Coming forward seems to be the only way in relieving some of our emotional distress. The last thing we want to do is throw any negativity toward Lizzo’s momentum and movement as a cultural figure.” (The New York Times)

Nick Cannon and Chris Brown are about to be ballin’ on the big screen in their upcoming flick, She Ball.
Cannon teamed up with Birdman’s Cash Money Films.
In addition to starring in the project, Cannon wrote, produced, and directed the movie. Brown and Birdman serve as producers and also star in the film alongside Cedric the Entertainer, DC Young Fly, Evan Ross, and Faizon Love.
