Vivica Fox Does Not Want A Remake
So do you remember me that Issa Rae was in the early stages of remaking the 1996 movie “Set It Off,” which starred Jada Pinkett Smith, Queen Latifah, Vivica Fox, and Kimberly Elise... And she plans to star in it!
While it seems pretty dope, some fans expressed that they did not want the remake to happen. “Set it Off” star, Vivica Fox, also weighed in on the remake... And let’s just say she’s also not feeling Issa’s attempt to remake the film.
Mo’Nique Sues Netflix For Discrimination
So actress and comedian Mo’Nique has filed a lawsuit against Netflix
Why you ask, she's accusing them of discrimination for how they negotiated a comedy special with her. As you know Mo’Nique was upset because they gave Amy Schumer $11 million for an hour-long stand-up special, but only offered her $500,000 which Mo turned down and called for a boycott.
Mo’Nique also called just about everybody, from the top executives of the Netflix, the big gender wage gap and lack of diversity in Hollywood.
Netflix has yet to respond to this latest lawsuit.
