PUBLIC ENEMY: Breakup Was an April Fools' Day
So Chuck D has apparently been preparing for April Fools Day for weeks. He claims that the group’s recent break-up, over Chuck’s Bernie Sanders co-sign, was all just an early April Fools' Day prank.
Chuck says the whole thing was a stunt to promote their new song, "Food As A Machine Gun" from the upcoming album Loud Is Not Enough.
LIL NAS X: I've Got Jokes, Too
Public Enemy aren’t the only ones with jokes. Lil Nas X topped it with his own April Fools' Day gag.
Nas tweeted overnight, “I was never gay. I said it to build up fuel for April Fools' Day. Ha, got you guys!” And then about 13minutes later, after asking his followers “where the hoes at,” Nas decided, “OK, I’m gay again.”
DRAKE, TORY LANEZ: Set New Instagram Live Record
Congrats go out to Drake and Tory Lanez.
The two Toronto superstars managed to break an Instagram Live record when 315,000 people logged onto Tory’s Quarantine Radio at the same time. He’s already had major guests on his IG Live, like 21 Savage, Young Thug, Megan Thee Stallion and Justin Bieber. But when Drake logged on, it took things to a whole other level.
I think the previous record, to the best of my knowledge, was held by 6ix9ine and Trippie Redd when they were beefing.
