2 CHAINZ: Changes Mind About Reopening Atlanta Restaurant
2 Chainz changed his mind about reopening his Atlanta restaurants.
Last week, rumor was that he and his business partner would reopen their Escobar Restaurant and Tapas chain as the governor of Georgia, Brian Kemp, eased restrictions on certain categories of businesses.
But now, he’s calling an audible. Yesterday, he announced on social media that he’s using his businesses to feed the homeless. He posted up a clip showing folks lined up outside the restaurant, each spaced at least six a part, waiting for a hot meal.
It might not be an easy call, but I feel it's the right one.
DR. DRE, JIMMY IOVINE: Eats By Dre
There’s Beats by Dre and now, Eats by Dre.
The super producer and music mogul teamed up with his longtime business partner Jimmy Iovine to take care of Compton residents. They donated money to provide medical testing, supplies and free meals. According to the Press-Telegram, the generous gift will pay for 145,000 meals and much-needed COVID-19 tests.
Mayor Aja Brown said Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine have always been great advocates and supporters of the City of Compton…
I just want to know if we’re gonna see Dre go head-to-head with Diddy in a Verzuz battle.
THREE 6 MAFIA, BONE THUGS: Next Verzuz Battle
The stage is set for this week’s Verzuz hit battle.
We’ve seen producers and artists go head-to-head so far. And now, the stage is set for the first group battle -- Bone Thugs-N-Harmony versus Three 6 Mafia. A representative of each group will go through the catalog and select 20 of the greatest hits. For Bone Thugs, Krayzie Bone will be calling the shots. And in Three 6 Mafia’s corner, DJ Paul, will hold things down.
Krayzie Bone hyped things up by posting, “Celebrating over 50 combined years of hits.”
It all goes down on Thursday at 7 PM
