J. COLE: NBA Vet Co-signs Hoop Dreams
NBA vet Larry Sanders is co-signing J. Cole’s hoop dreams.
He thinks Cole has a shot at making it as a pro-baller. Sanders said, You always see guys
crossover from the NBA to music, but you don't see guys crossover from music to the NBA.
So, this will be dope if he accomplishes this… He gonna have to put himself out there and
accept the challenge of everybody that's a professional coming at his head."
J Cole might have a real shot at the NBA!
KANYE WEST: Eyed for Election Fraud?
He’s shooting for the White House, but Kanye West’s presidential campaign could land him in the big house.
NJ-dot-com reports that Yeezy has officially withdrawn from the New Jersey ballot after hundreds of signatures submitted as part of a petition were scrutinized by an elections lawyer. It’s not the first place he’s been taken off the ballot due to some sketchy signatures.
CNN political analyst April Ryan says the recent missteps open him up to an “#ElectionFraud
investigation.” April says she “would imagine other states where reported GOP operatives assisted him to get on the ballot will soon be reviewing.”
He needs to quit while he's ahead.
CARDI B: Gives Credit to Nicki Minaj
Apparently it’s not all bad between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B.
Bardi recently showed Nicki some love in a new interview, she gave Nicki props when she spoke about the women who have run rap over the years. She said there was one female
rapper that dominated for a very long time and she did pretty good and still dominating.”
See... We're one step closer to Cardi and Nicki squashing their beef and working together.
DRAKE: Details on Next Album and Single
I'm hearing rumblings that a new Drake album could be here before the end of the month.Word is... Drizzy is planning to team up with Bruno Mars -- for a new track.
The song is expected to be the first single from Drake’s upcoming album, Skeleton Key. You know back in May, Dark promised his “sixth studio album [is] dropping Summer 2020.” Since
then, he’s posted some minor updates, including one that said he was about 80% done...
I don't know if it's just me, but new music doesn't hit the same when you know you can't go hear it at the club or a concert.
