SAWEETIE: Puts Label on Blast for Leaked Single
Welp!... Warner Brothers can forget about being best friends with Saweetie, since they accidentally debuted her single before its January release date.
Saweetie blasted the record company on Twitter last night after "girl anthem" featuring Doja Cat dropped on Apple Music.
Saweetie tweeted that she was "disappointed" and felt "disrespected" as an artist, saying the label is too focused on clout-chasing, especially because it apparently released the "wrong version at that." She also said that she'd just finished working on the visual to accompany the single for the new year.
DRAKE: Lands Nike Apparel Deal
Drake has dropped some details about his clothing label in partnership with Nike.
He says that NOCTA, short for “Nocturnal Creative Process,” "is about creating something for people on the move.
Drizzy wants his collection to cater to hustlers who work "nonstop" to become successful. “[It’s] characterized by the type who are on the road all day, all night -- the grinders, the hard workers -- trying to accomplish their goals and taking no shortcuts.”
They've been working on the project for about two years, so it's expected to drop soon.
