JHENE AIKO: Addresses Racial Identity and Use of N-Word
When Jhene Aiko was asked about her racial identity recently, she offered up an interesting answer -- a few points only Californians would get.
She tweeted that she’s mixed with “whispers, cat hair, Slauson asphalt and sand from Venice Beach.” She later elaborated by saying, “I am less Black than someone half-Black, but also less White than someone half-White… And Asian is the least thing I am. LOL. So at this point, it’s whatever they want me to be.”
After The Shade Room picked up her comments, she added some context, writing, “The discussion stemmed from the use of the N-word in my music, in the past… And I let it be known I haven’t in a while and chose not to use it anymore moving forward out of respect and consideration to my ancestors and the individuals who feel uncomfortable when I say it.”

His previous four custom lines have all sold out.
TREY SONGZ: Ohio Club Cited for Packed Concert
An Ohio nightclub was cited after violating public health orders to host a packed indoor concert.
Around 500 people turned up to a Columbus venue to see a performance from Trey Songz. The venue failed to enforce proper precautions -- allowing hundreds in without physical barriers to drink and party unmasked and without social distancing.
Isn't this the same Trey Songz that tested positive for COVID back in October?
