DANILEIGH: Dragged for Colorist Lyrics?
So am I the only perosn that heard DaniLeigh's new song "Yellow Bone" and the first thought came to mind was "this is trash." I'm only asking becuase the internet has been going at her because of what they feel is a colorist tone.
Because the lyrics, say, "Yellow Bone, that's what he want."
Lee added "people around me are the ones that know my heart and intention... Only God can 'cancel' me."
She later owned up to some degree of fault, saying, "I'm sorry if I offended you."
VERZUZ: Beef Squashed on Ladies Night
O.T. Genesis found time to squash a beef.
He appeared on Keyshia Cole's Instagram Live during the Verzuz battle last night, and sang along with the single "Love." That's the track O.T. released an unofficial remix to, "Never Knew/Cuz," -- which Keyshia didn't give her blessing to.
The ladies kept up the battle's reputation, drawing 1.1 million views, and played 20 hits each.
I was kinda disappointed that Keyshia was more than an hour late and rotated the same songs.
SOULJA BOY: Accused of Sexual Assault
Soulja Boy's former personal assistant has filed a lawsuit accusing him of sexual assault and several other violent crimes.
The woman, who filed her suit as "Jane Doe," says she began working for Soulja at the end of 2018, for $500 per week, doing everything from driving his car to styling his hair. Within a month, she says he began sending her unsolicited nudes, and eventually forced her into sex. On one occasion, the woman says he punched her so hard that he knocked her out!
Soulja has served stints behind bars on weapons and parole violation charges, and once faced a claim of kidnapping and assaulting an ex-girlfriend.
