DONALD GLOVER: Eight-Figure Deal With Amazon

Amazon Studios made a major play for Donald Glover. He’s earning “eight figures” – more than $10 million – to create a unique channel for Amazon Prime viewers.

On his payroll will be former first daughter, Malia Obama. She’s joining Glover’s writing staff for a series called Hive, which is “rumored to revolve around a Beyoncé-like figure.”

Donald is also bringing his brother, Stephen Glover, over to Amazon. They created the award-winning series, Atlanta... And if you're wondering, production on seasons three and four launches next month for FX .

SWAE LEE, TRIPPIE REDD, LIL DURK: The Crew League

Some of your favorite hip-hop stars will get a chance to show off their skills on the court on Revolt TV’s new series The Crew League.

The hip-hop basketball tournament will feature artists like Lil Durk, Trippie Redd, Swae Lee, Jack Harlow, Russ and G Herbo to name a few. The show kicks off this Friday and will air weekly through the beginning of March.

The 10-team tourney uses a bracket-style format, with each squad featuring a mix of rappers, their friends, publicists, managers and various other entourage members. The winners take home $100,000 in cash.

LAURYN HILL: Diamond Day

Congrats to Lauryn Hill on officially going Diamond.

That means the RIAA has officially recognized and certified the fact that she’s sold at least 10 million copies of her solo album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.

This puts Ms. Hill in an elite group of Diamond-selling artists, that includes legends like Eminem, 2Pac, Biggie, OutKast and The Beastie Boys.

Kodak Black New Ring

Kodak Black is repping Donald Trump with his newest jewelry. Black has a new ring with the word “Trump Ties” on one side, and the day and the date of his pardon on the other. Kodak showed it off during an interview with Fat Joe on Instagram Live.
