JAY-Z: Cashes Out With Tidal Sale
Jay-Z’s Tidal has sold off a majority stake to Square, the company ran by Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey.
The deal is valued at almost $300 million, plus a seat on the board of Square for Jay-Z. In addition, the artists who had equity from the app’s launch like Beyonce, Madonna and Rihanna will all retain their stakes and become the second-largest shareholders.
Last month he sold off half his stake in Ace of Spades... Ain't nobody making mogul moves like Mr. Carter.
Eddie Murphy Back To Stand Up
Coming 2 America is out now on Amazon Prime, and while Eddie Murphy was promoting the film, Kevin Hart asked him about getting back into stand-up. Welp, Murphy hinted at the idea of rounding up all the comedians starring in Coming 2 America for a tour. The film stars Arsenio Hall, Jermaine Fowler, Leslie Jones, Trevor Noah, Tracy Morgan, and more.
