So was it last week? Or maybe it was week before last… When were supposed to have a gas shortage and y’all went out & filled up ya tanks, and extra gas tanks & buckets & water bottles & garbage bags & pretty much anything you could find to fill up with gas! Just HOARDING IT!
Well you know there’s a reason why gas is safer IN the tank.
Just ask 28-year-old Jessica Patterson, who driving around Pickens South Carolina last week . . . when she caught the attention of the police, because the plates on her car had been reported stolen.
So what did Jessica do when she saw the cops? SHE FREAKED OUT! Hit the gas (no pun intended) and started leading them on a high-speed chase.
Which was not a smart move, why? Because she had "several containers" of hoarded gas in her trunk.
And at some point during the chase, Jessica lost control of her vehicle, ran off the road… And FLIPPED. And yes, the car did catch on fire, as of a matter of fact! There "multiple explosions were heard inside." But Jessica was able to get out, despite being ON FIRE.
The police put out the flames and got her to a hospital. She was badly burned, but survived. It's not clear what kind of charges she's facing yet from the police… But you can bet the hospital is gonna charge her!
