KANYE WEST: Call Donda a Classic?
So some are already saying that Donda is a "classic"! And it haven’t even dropped yet!
Fans have been waiting for the release of Kanye's Donda album since his first album listening party a few weeks ago, and even though we thought it would drop today, it hasn't! Tidal did however drop a list of features we can expect to hear on the project…
The album will feature Pusha T, Kid Cudi, Lil Yachty, Playboi Carti, Travis Scott, Young Thug, Jadakiss, Pop Smoke, Jay-Z, The Weeknd, Lil Baby and Lil Durk and more… Geesh, does he need anybody else?
AND WHEN IS IT GONNA DROP?!!!
Lil Durk Will Not Mention The Dead In His Songs Or Performances
And speaking of Lil Durk, I am really proud that he is trying to change his ways.
Yesterday he took to Twitter to vow to refrain from name-dropping the dead in songs. Durk even took it a step further, he also says he won’t perform the songs that mention the dead…
I’m proud Durk, rap & Chicago!
AALIYAH: Posthumous Album Memorializes 20th Anniversary
And finally, word is there’s some new music on the way from the late Aaliyah
Aaliyah's uncle Barry Hankerson, who also oversees her music catalog, tells Billboard that in addition to releasing her music onto streaming platforms, Blackground Music is putting together a posthumous album.
That will feature Drake, Future, Ne-Yo, Chris Brown and Snoop Dogg. Timbaland is also said to have joined as a producer.
This will memorialize the 20th anniversary of her passing.
