Currently, she is involved in a feud with Ice Spice, which has added to the excitement surrounding her. Fans have been eagerly awaiting new music, and they won’t have to wait much longer. Latto recently announced her upcoming album titled Sugar Honey Iced Tea. The album trailer, narrated by Big Rube of Dungeon Family, can be viewed below, featuring T.I.'s "24's," hinting at what the album may offer. Additionally, some ad-libs in the trailer appear to be from Playboi Carti, adding to the intrigue. The highly anticipated album is set to release on Friday, August 9th, just two weeks away. Latto shared with Billboard, “[Aesthetically], I’ve been pulling from Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, and Lil Kim. [Musically], I’ve been pulling from Kelis, but obviously with a Southern Hip Hop twist. They have very feminine energy, but masculine in the sense of confidence. I feel like they were boss bitches.” As Latto continues to evolve as an artist, only time will reveal the nature of this project.
